Orbis Group has become a partner in the landscaping of a new urban park in the center of Almaty. As part of its environmental initiative, the company allocated 200 million tenge for greening the area and creating a comfortable recreational space for residents and visitors of the city.

With the company’s support, the park — located at the intersection of Nazarbayev Avenue and Gandhi Street — has been landscaped with a variety of decorative and mature trees, including willows, lindens, apple trees, and several types of junipers that naturally complement the surrounding landscape. These plantings have given the park a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere, providing natural shade and coolness during the hot season.

The project also features a unique architectural installation supported by Orbis Group — a granite, metal, and wood stele with an integrated bench, which has already become a recognizable landmark and a favorite photo spot for locals and tourists alike.

Orbis Group founder Farrukh Makhmudov noted: “We were glad to support this environmental initiative because we want Almaty to become an even greener city with cleaner air.
Orbis Group’s contribution to tree planting and landscaping is symbolic: the more greenery a city has, the higher the quality of life for its residents. We are happy to help create more key recreational spaces like this in Almaty and thank the city administration for their trust in our company.

The new park has become a modern public space for walking, sports, and social activities in the open air. Orbis Group will continue to support projects that promote sustainable urban development and the greening of Kazakhstan’s major cities.
