The Head of State was informed about the results of Orbis Kazakhstan's activities and development prospects. In particular, Farrukh Mahmudov told the President about plans to build a full-cycle Orbis Manufacturing automobile plant in the industrial park of Almaty. The project will bring together Chinese brands such as Exeed and Kaiyi on one production site, with which agreements have already been reached on 100% small-scale production. The total investment in the project will amount to 72 billion tenge. 1,500 new jobs will be created at the first stage. The production capacity is 80,000 vehicles per year, which will be supplied to both the domestic and foreign markets, including the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus region. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was informed about the company's participation in the development of Astana's infrastructure. This year, Orbis plans to complete the construction of a shopping and market complex here and begin construction of a multidisciplinary medical clinic. At the same time, the company plans to start construction of the Agro Park wholesale distribution center. In addition, the group of companies implements a number of projects to develop the tourism cluster of Almaty. The reconstruction of the historic Almaty Hotel, the symbol of the southern capital, has begun, and the construction of the Prosveshchenets recreation center and a multifunctional recreation center in Konayev is underway. Along with this, the Head of State was informed about the company's contribution to flood relief in the settlements of Aksu and Kentubek in the West Kazakhstan region. Farrukh Mahmudov thanked the President for the continued support of Kazakhstani business. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev positively assessed the company's initiatives and wished further success in the implementation of new projects.
