October 14, Almaty. — Orbis Auto and ALT University named after Mukhamedzhan Tynyshpaev have signed a memorandum of cooperation. This new stage of partnership will allow university students to undertake internships at the dealerships and enterprises of the automotive holding, and for the most talented — to begin their careers within the Orbis Auto Group.

The signing ceremony took place at the university in Almaty, with ALT University Rector Meruert Zharmagambetova and Dinara Iskakova, General Director of Orbis Auto, in attendance.

The agreement covers not only internship and training programs, but also an exchange of expertise between the company and the university — from the introduction of modern educational formats to joint projects closely aligned with real industry practices.
Dinara Iskakova, General Director of Orbis Auto, said:

The automotive business is changing rapidly — new technologies, sales formats, and services are emerging. Young specialists are the ones who feel these changes best and often become the drivers behind them. We want ALT University students to see Orbis Auto not just as a place for internships, but as an opportunity to build a career. I myself once joined a Toyota dealership as a student — and today I lead the company. My colleague, Sanzhar Konusbay, started at Orbis Auto with minimal experience and, by the age of 27, became the head of Toyota City Almaty. Stories like these are not exceptions in our company — and we want there to be many more. I know how important that first chance can be for young people.

Meruert Zharmagambetova, Rector of ALT University, emphasized that the partnership with Orbis Auto is a logical continuation of the reforms the university has been implementing in recent years:

We have rethought our approach to education — less theory, more practice. We launched a dual education system, where students spend a significant part of their time in production environments. This gives them experience, understanding of the industry, and confidence in their abilities. Collaboration with Orbis Auto will make this process even more meaningful — students will be able to see how the modern automotive business works from the inside.

The partnership between Orbis Auto and ALT University aims to create a training ecosystem that prepares young professionals for real market challenges — from engineers to marketers.
